How to Maintain the LED Display to Prolong Its Life?

LED display has gradually become the mainstream product in the marketa. Its gorgeous figure can be seen everywhere in outdoor buildings, stages, stations and other places. But do you know how to maintain them? In particular, outdoor advertising screens face a harsher environment and need more maintenance, so that they can serve us better.

The following are some maintenance and precautions for LED display screens:

1. The power supply should be stable, and the ground protection should be good. In severe weather such as lightning and rainstorm, the power supply should be cut off.

2. The screen of the led display screen is exposed to the outdoors for a long time, and it will inevitably be exposed to wind and sun, and the surface is also dusty. The screen surface cannot be wiped directly with a damp cloth, but can be wiped with alcohol, or with a brush or a vacuum cleaner to dedust.

3. When using, firstly turn on the control computer to make it run normally, and then turn on the led display. After using, firstly turn off the display, and then turn off the computer.

4. Water is strictly prohibited inside the display screen, and combustible objects and easily conductive metal objects are strictly prohibited from entering the screen body, so as to avoid short circuit of the equipment and fire. If water enters, please cut off the power immediately and contact the maintenance personnel, and the display board in the screen cannot be used until it is dry.

5. It is recommended that the led display should be rested for at least 10 hours a day, and used at least once a week during the rainy season. Generally, the screen should be turned on at least once a week and lit for more than 1 hour.

6. Do not forcibly cut off at will. And do not frequently turn off and on the power supply of the display screen, so as to avoid excessive current, excessive heating of the power line, damage to the LED core, and affect the service life of the display screen. Do not disassemble or splice the screen without authorization!

7. The LED large screen needs to be checked regularly to see if it is working normally. And the damaged circuit should be repaired or replaced in time. The main control computer and other related equipment should be placed in an air-conditioned and dusty room to ensure the ventilation and heat dissipation of the computer and stable work. Non-professionals are prohibited from touching the internal circuit of the screen to avoid electric shock or damage to the circuit. If there is a problem, please ask a professional to repair it.
